Under no circumstance is Buyer to allow a veterinarian to vaccinate kitten with a booster
plus a rabies at the same visit. Ragdolls are sensitive and death could occur.
Breeder will not be responsible for any adverse reaction to subsequent vaccines of 3-way, 4-way, FeLV and Rabies.
Cats are
not to have the FIP or FeLV vaccinations. Doing so will void the contract.
4. This kitten/cat upon leaving is free from all internal and external
parasites and is healthy to the best of our knowledge. “Colds and
digestive upset” due to shipping and/or going to their new home are to be checked by a vet and are the responsibility
of the buyer. MewsicalDolls recommends getting your veterinarian to do a checkup
within 48 hours of when you receive your kitten, OR the first Tuesday if pickup is on the weekend. If any problems are suspected
please inform us immediately. Failure to do so will cancel the guarantee. We
also guarantee that our kittens/cats come from a home free of FeLV and FIP. Buyer’s acceptance of the animal at the
time of sale will constitute approval of the animal’s conformation to the basic characteristics of the breed.
5. Kittens are raised on a 50/50 mixture of
Iams Kitten and Iams MultiCat food. They should be fed the kitten variety until they are 1 year old. We recommend after they reach 1 year old they be fed a mixture of Iams Hairball and Iams Original mixed
50/50 or the Iams MultiCat formula. Both are premium foods for your kitten and
cat. It has been our experience that the Ragdolls digestive systems does better
with the extra fiber that is in the hairball or multicat formula’s.
Treats: They can be fed any treat that does not contain Corn.
Corn is cheap filler in animal food and will not provide adequate nutrition for your Ragdoll. We have found that our Ragdolls
prefer the brand "Pounce"!
6.
MewsicalDolls kittens come with a TWO year genetics guarantee. If at any time your kitten has ANY health problem please
notify us. It is our utmost priority to keep only those lines with superb health in our breeding program.
If, however,
the above-described animals(s), by virtue of a congenital defect are not suitable as a pet or breeding animal (within two
years from date of this transaction), the animal will be replaced by the seller. The
buyer agrees that as a condition preceding any warranty claim, the buyer must furnish medical verification of a congenital
defect effecting the animal’s utilization as a pet or breeder from a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, with supporting
data for evaluation to Seller’s veterinarian. Upon confirmation of congenital defect, the animal will be replaced with
a pet or breeder from the next available litter with the Seller making the choice of replacement kitten. Buyer pays all shipping charges (includes the return of original kitten/cat and the replacement of kitten/cat).
No monies will be refunded.
No medical or travel charges will be refunded
If a genetic defect results in death within 2 years of purchase seller will replace the
Ragdoll with a kitten from our next available litter. No monies will be refunded. An autopsy necropsy report from a Veterinarian
will need to be sent to MewsicalDolls within 5 days of death to confirm that it was indeed caused by genetics. It MUST say
it was caused by a genetic default in the report. No medical or travel charges will be refunded.
7. If you are not happy for any reason with the kitten/ cat-you have 72 hours to return the
kitten to MewsicalDolls. No monies will be refunded but the cat/kitten will be replaced with another cat/kitten from the next
available litter. No medical or travel charges will be refunded.
8. Under no
circumstances will this kitten/cat be sold, leased or given away to any pet store, research laboratory, breeding mill or similar
facility. MewsicalDolls reserves first right to buy back said kitten/ cat if
owner no longer wants the cat. Purchase price may not apply. We also are willing to help you place your Ragdoll if needed.
9. This cat/kitten
will be kept indoors and not be allowed to roam freely outdoors.
Ragdolls do not possess the qualities needed to survive
on their own.
10. This kitten/cat will not be declawed. Ragdolls
do not possess the qualities needed to defend themselves and declawing makes this even worse. It also mutilates their paws.
Declawing will void this contract.
11. No exchanges or
replacement kittens/adults will be proved if Breeder is no longer breeding.

Traditionally,
vaccinations have been given annually to adult cats. However, due to increased occurrences of cancer at the vaccination
site ("vaccine-associated sarcoma"), the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) in 1997 recommended initial vaccination,
a booster 1 year later, then a 3-year booster cycle for certain "core" vaccines: feline panleukopenia (FP), feline calicivirus
(FCV) , feline viral rhinotracheitis (FVR), and rabies. Note that rabies vaccinations must still be given in accordance
with local laws.
(FVRC-Panleukopenia,
Rhinotracheitis, Calcivirus)
AAFP recommends that vaccines for feline leukemia (FeLV) and feline
infectious peritonitis (FIP) be given only if circumstances warrant. Cats at low risk for FeLV are defined as indoor-only
cats and those in closed, multi-cat households that have tested negative for FeLV. Cats in other situations are considered
high risk.
In addition, several organizations, including AAFP, recommend that vaccinations
not be given between the cat's shoulder blades. |

Vaccines not Recommended
For Cats
Chlamydia or pneumonitis:
This is a rare ocular disease of cats and kittens accounting for less than 5% of upper respiratory infections in cats.(13,
15, 21) It is a mild easily treated disease. The vaccination produces only a short (2 month) duration of immunity. Feline leukemia (FeLV) and feline infectious
peritonitis (FIP).
NOTE: Consult your local veterinarian to
determine the appropriate vaccination schedule for your cat. Vaccinations could
vary depending on age, health status, breed and possible exposures to disease.
